Career Journey
With over 20 years of experience spanning five different organizations, Yusufu has excelled in various leadership roles. He began his career as an Audit Trainee with T.A. Jewoola & Co (Chartered Accountants) and later advanced to Assistant Audit Manager with Marinho & Partners in 2000.
In 2004, he transitioned to the banking sector as Resident Internal Control Officer with Intercontinental Bank, where he eventually rose to Resident Branch Controller and Enterprise. From 2014 to 2016, he served as the Chief Inspector at Kogi Savings and Loans Limited (Mortgage Bankers).
In 2016, Yusufu joined the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service as Head of Internal Audit and Process Monitoring. In 2020, he became Head of the Department of Business Development Planning, Research, and Statistics (BDPRS). In February 2024, he was appointed by the Executive Chairman, Sule Salihu Enehe, as Acting Director in the Directorate of Personal Income Tax (PIT) and Area Tax Offices.
